Just was stopping by to see if you have made any new posts. This is a nice and short message. Looking back now, I think I see what the message was with the whole Fuji lab closing, and the job I have now. I was blessed with really good job as a Maintenance Technician for Fuji. The physical labor wasn’t hard, air conditioned, and good pay. I felt on top of the world starting off life on a good start. I feel that God blessed me with that job for me and my family and we took advantage of what we were given.

I wouldn’t say God punished me, but more so that he taught me a lesson. I do make more now than I did at Fuji, but I work 20 times harder. 12 hour, hard physical labor, rotating shifts, and all in a non air conditioned plant.

Looking back on how everything worked out, I feel that he taught us a lesson to not take for granted what he blesses us with. I now understand the hard labor that many people go through just to live.

When does Ephesians 4:29 apply?

Wade,

Very well put. You have received God’s plan and now you know that God is always with you.

You can always witness to others in need on how God has blessed you. Many people are still looking for work.

God Bless

Curious - When does Ephesians 4:29 apply?

Ephesians 4:29
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

I feel this passage is telling us we should try to build each other up, and we can with the help of God. At times we fail and all we can do is pray and ask God to teach us to be more Christ like.

You will fail and so will I. I do fail this task because I am imperfect. We just need to try harder the next time.

In Christ,
Lon
