God is waiting for you to invite him into your life. If your life and marriage is going down hill then ask God to take control, God is waiting for you to reach out with your arms open and ask him into your life. There are two roads God has laid out for us; one is wide, straight, smooth and flat. The other is narrow, curvy, rough and hilly. Which one are you going to take? I hope the narrow, curvy, rough and hilly. These roads are designed so we can call out to God and allow him to be with us on this journey.
HOW DID MY WIFE AND I GET TO KNOW CHRIST?
My marriage had already fallen apart but was saved by the grace of God. I
was talking with a co-worker / friend one day before lunch. During lunch
he drove me to the church he attends for a guided tour. I felt comfortable
when I walked in with him and I had this feeling (a tingle from head to toe)
come over me as I toured the church.
My wife and I started attending that church and the people there welcomed us
from the first day. We went to the Weekend to Remember conference which is
hosted by FamilyLife.com, a biblical outline for a troubled marriage. This
is a loving experience you will never forget! My wife and I became members
of the church and became active in Sunday school and Wednesday night bible
studies.
There is one family in the church who has touched us so deeply and has been a
blessing to us. This couple sponsored us on our Walk to Emmaus and
displayed the grace of God's love to us. My wife and I returned from our
walk with a completely different look towards our life and goals.
